By accessing or using ChattTonight (the website at chatttonight.com, our mobile applications, or The Chatt List), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What we provide
ChattTonight is an informational guide to events, venues, and recurring nights in the Chattanooga metro area. We compile listings from public sources and manual curation. We are a discovery tool — not a ticket seller, venue operator, or event promoter.
- Event times, prices, and availability can change without notice.
- Ticket purchases occur on third-party sites (venues, Ticketmaster, etc.). Those transactions are governed by the seller's terms.
- We do not guarantee that every event in the area appears in the guide, or that listed information is complete or error-free.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content except through our documented public API (https://chatttonight.com/api/v1/feed) within reasonable rate limits
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, admin tools, or data
- Interfere with the service's operation or other users' access
- Misrepresent your affiliation with ChattTonight or use our branding without permission
Newsletter
The Chatt List is an opt-in email publication. By subscribing, you consent to receive emails from us at the address you provide. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email. Email delivery is provided by Beehiiv; their terms apply to use of their platform.
Intellectual property
The ChattTonight name, logo, site design, and original editorial content are owned by us or our licensors. Event titles, venue names, and third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for informational purposes.
You may share links to our pages and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not copy substantial portions of the database, reproduce the app, or create a competing service using our scraped or curated data without written permission.
Third-party content and links
The service includes links to external websites and displays information sourced from venues and ticketing platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, pricing, or policies. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT EVENT INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHATTTONIGHT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING MISSED EVENTS, INCORRECT LISTINGS, OR ISSUES WITH THIRD-PARTY TICKET PURCHASES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50). BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY FREE TO BROWSE, (B) WILL OFTEN APPLY.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChattTonight and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
Changes to the service and terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Hamilton County, Tennessee, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
